The London & Middlesex Rifle Association is established within Bisley Camp, the UK's, National Shooting Centre. We offer excellent facilities and opportunities for sportsmen and sportswomen who practice the art of target shooting using various types of firearms. Our focus is on full-bore Target Rifle (TR) and Match Rifle (MR) disciplines, but we also cater for those involved in .22 small-bore rifle, small-bore and full-bore Gallery Rifle, long range air pistol, 10m air rifle and pistol, black powder rifle and pistol, and shotgun disciplines.

During the shooting season, March to October, we organise many individual and team competitions for these disciplines. We offer something for all abilities, with friendly matches against clubs and county teams through to trophy matches either at home or away against Scotland, Wales, Ireland and the Channel Islands. A timetable covering these events can be found on our events calendar. We also tour overseas approximately every 2 years, for example to the West Indies, Australia, Canada and Africa. Shooters of all abilities go on these tours. Results for most of our competitions will be posted in the results section as quickly as possible after the match.

LMRA organise a series of Coaching and Development events to help people new to shooting to learn more and to join in with LMRA team matches. There are three types of event:-

• Beginner Training Days
• Weekend Coaching Course
• LMRA Team Matches suitable for those looking to gain experience

We have 1,000 full subscribing members plus 30 cadet, school and junior institutions who have affiliated to LMRA. We subsidise a number of shooting events throughout the year for these organisations. We also have 95 affiliated shooting clubs. Members of an affiliated club enjoy a number of the clubhouse facilities.

At our clubhouse, shown above, you can relax in one of the two bar areas and take breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of our three restaurants. We also provide accommodation at very reasonable prices available for full members and members of affiliated clubs. The clubhouse is open seven days a week.

Those wanting a little more comfort can stay at St. George’s Lodge, which is just five minutes walk from the clubhouse. Residents can enjoy the facilities of the clubhouse during their stay. See linked page for more information.
