While the programme is centred on target rifle shooting it may be of interest to members who shoot other disciplines.
The programme mixes theory and practical sessions.
The mornings will be in the classroom. Saturday afternoon will be spent indoors building trainees shooting positions.
Sunday afternoon will be spent on the range at 600 yards putting into practice what you have learnt.

The programme is will include:

Safety and security
The prone position
Breathing and trigger control
How to take the perfect shot
The vernier scale
Wind weather and mirage
Shooting equipment and maintenance
Zeroing the sights
The score sheet
Centering the group
Competition shooting
Team shooting
Shooting in wet weather

Overnight accomadation and dinner will be available in the clubhpose.
